File upload (GBox)

GBox is a software that allows users to transfer large volumes of data quickly using software technology without the need for additional plugins such as ActiveX (https://www.kobic.re.kr/kobic/analysis/downloadarrow-up-right)

  1. Run GBox and log in with the K-BDS account. If GBox is not available, install it before proceeding

  2. Move to the folder on user’s PC containing the files to upload through [File Explorer] or [File Browser]

  3. After selecting the folder or file to upload in [File Explorer], right-click (Upload) or drag it to [GBox Explorer] to upload the data ※ Only one folder should be applied per submission ※ Create sub-folders in GBox: Make sub-folders by right-click (New > Folder) in [GBox Explorer] and double-click to move into it

  1. After the data is uploaded, the upload progress can be checked in the Progress window. Once the upload is completed, the uploaded files or folders will appear in [GBox Explorer]

  2. Right-click (Path Copy) in [GBox Explorer] to copy the “full path (absolute path)” of the target folder ※ Paste the copied path into the ‘Enter the preload folder path’ field of KEA submission (refer to KEA metadata guide)
